Chef Antonio Caruana

Chef Antonio Caruana found his passion for cooking after watching his father, also a chef, cook.  It all started when his father, an Italian immigrant, asked Antonio to help him make a bowl of pasta.  Later in his teens, he learned the restaurant business by working his way up. Starting with cleaning the grease traps, dish-washing and waiting.  Moving up to garde manger, and in due time saute line.  Antonio took culinary classes and traveled Europe. There he learned about different cultures, and ingredients.  Italian food has always been in Antonio’s DNA. It builds an excitement in him to create.  Customers may enjoy Antonio’s Italian dishes with his modern flair at Luce.
