Executive Chef Matt Knack
You will not find a nicer more personable guy than Chef Matt Knack. While staying with a cousin, who loved to cook, Matt began his adventure with cooking. After moving in with friends and having to cook for themselves, he soon began to realize that cooking was what he loved. People coming back time after time to enjoy his dishes is what drives his passion to create. After working as a dishwasher he began to take classes at the Culinary Institute of Virginia. From there he began two internships and is now the Executive Chef at Croc’s 19th Street Bistro. He uses local fresh ingredients, many coming from Croc’s on-site garden when preparing his dishes. Chef Matt has participated and won several culinary awards in the area.
